Le Wang entered the Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy in 2005 and went on to win the Grand Prize in the Contemporary Category of Youth America Grand Prix (New York) as well as “Outstanding Award” at the Beijing International Ballet Invitational for Dance Schools. He was also a prize winner of the 40th Prix de Lausanne in 2012.

After graduation, Le Wang joined Nederland Dans Theater 2 and later Les Ballets
De Monte Carlo as a dancer and choreographer, starring in many works and travelling around the world with both companies.
​
In 2018, as a young choreographer, he created his first ballet for Les Ballets Monte Carlo and in 2020, he established his own choreographic studio in Beijing where he remained throughout lockdown.
As an independent choreographer he has been invited to create works for The Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy, National Ballet of China, English National Ballet School, National Centre For The Performing Arts and for the 2022 New Year concert of China.
He was also invited to make contemporary variations for candidates of the Beijing International Ballet Invitational for Dance Schools and the Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition. Le Wang has also extended his choreographic practice to commercial advertisements, and worked with museums and several Chinese art festivals.

Le has won multiple awards, including The 5th Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition Silver Award, Special Award of Morning Star Ballet Foundation (choreography group), Best Choreography Award (classical ballet group), Best Editing Award in 2021 Suzhou City dance performance, First Prize for Choreography and Performance in the 17th Beijing Dance Competition and 3rd Place in the Ensemble Category for the Asia Pacific Competition in the Youth American Grand Prix. Some of his works were performed in the 2019 National Chinese Dance Gala, the special performance for the 10th Anniversary of the Young Artists Platform of Dance, the closing ceremony for the Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition, the closing ceremony for the Beijing International Ballet Invitational for Dance Schools, the Young Ballet and Modern Dance Stars Gala at National Centre for the Performing Arts amongst others.

Recent creations include Inside-Out, a new trio for the Hong Kong Ballet Gala in November, 2023. Upcoming new creations in 2024 include commissions for Ballet X in Philadelphia and for Jr. Ballet Antwerp in Belgium.
